Collington Masonic Lodge # 230

Square and Compass

A Message From The East

My Brothers,

Collington is buzzing with work. Two new Brothers, four Fellow Craft; and March is just starting with more degree work on the way.

The Wild Game dinner on the 20th was a huge success. Over 50 attendees, many new faces and families. Enjoyment was had by all (and yes, there was wild game).

Having attended the Grand Masters cruise, I must report that the fellowship with the Grand Master at his table, and with my Brothers and their traveling companions throughout the cruise, was wonderful. The personalized service on the Mercury was impeccable. The time spent enjoying the ship´s shows, events, services, and concessions; in conjunction with the tour excursions and shopping on St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. Kitts, Antigua, and St. Maarten were exciting, and refreshing. It is nice to forget the day of the week, and enjoy the sun, water, and relaxation; ending each day with an exquisite dinner, turn-down service, and a piece of chocolate on your pillow. There were 40 Brothers, of the approximate 140 traveling with the Fraternity.

On behalf of the lodge, I extend my sincere thanks to the Brother, who so unselfishly donated funds to cover the parking lot snow removal; enabling our lodge to complete the designs on the Trestle-Board last month. Thank You Brother!

Have you ever asked yourself, "Who is a good Mason?"

There is so much good in the worst of us,
And is so much bad in the best of us,
That it is not right for any of us,
To find fault with the rest of us.

Fraternally yours,

Dan Johnson

Worshipful Master
