Meals on Wheels

There are two Meals on Wheels routes in Bowie.  The Group could use some drivers to serve these routes.  It only takes about two hours a month and the routes are about 40 miles (Go to Senior Center to pick up containers, then to Prince George's Hospital to get the food, then distribute the food, then take containers back to the Senior Center). The mileage is deductible on your tax return.  It can be done by one person, but it is better when two people do it, i.e. husband and wife teams.  For additional information call Jack Calloway at 301-262-3457.   To volunteer call Mrs. Nancy Plummer at 301-262-9404.
