Sick and Distressed

Past Master and Tiler Edward Hudgins, Jr. had corporal tunnel surgery on his right hand on August 30th.

Update - Bro. Kenneth S. Peters did not have to have a kidney removed. He has an aneurysm in his renal artery. He goes to the doctor on Tuesday for consultation about further surgery.

Update - Ms. Nina Brumbaugh, daughter of Senior Warden Scott Brumbaugh (Collington) had her first chemo treatment last Thursday. Everything went well. She lives in Florida and is a single parent. She has no insurance, but was placed under the Medicaid Program. The surgery and treatments are quite expensive and Medicaid does not pay the entire bill. There is a copay. If you would like to help Bro. Scott and his family, you can mail your donation to Nina Marie Brumbaugh Fund in care of Senior Warden Brumbaugh. The family would be extremely appreciative of any help you can give.

If you know of someone in the Masonic family sick or in distress, please contact JW Ed James at 443-336-9063 or the Secretary at 301-262-3457. Please remember to keep the sick and distress in your prayers.

Meals on Wheels

There are two Meals on Wheels routes in Bowie.  The Group could use some drivers to serve these routes.  It only takes about two hours a month and the routes are about 40 miles (Go to Senior Center to pick up containers, then to Prince George's Hospital to get the food, then distribute the food, then take containers back to the Senior Center). The mileage is deductible on your tax return.  It can be done by one person, but it is better when two people do it, i.e. husband and wife teams.  For additional information call Jack Calloway.   To volunteer call Mrs. Nancy Plummer.
