Saturday, March 13, 8:30 PM C L Regional Meeting at Centennial Lodge in Upper Marlboro. Coffee and donuts at 8:00 AM with the meeting beginning at 8:30 AM. All Masons are invited. Sick and DistressedPast Master Jack Hill is still recovering from pneumonia and doing much better. He will probably be incapacitated for another week. Past Master Richard Fisher's mother Jane passed away on March 7. She was at Bonnie Blink. Widow Mary Crothers passed away on March 5th. Viewing will be Monday, March 8 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715. Funeral services will be Tuesday at Beall's at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Fort Lincoln. Mrs. Sheila McGaughy, wife of Past Master John McGaughy, had surgery on her elbow for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (like carpal tunnel only on the elbow). If you know of someone in the Masonic family sick or in distress, please contact JW James or the Secretary. Please remember to keep the sick and distress in your prayers. Wardens are expected to attend. Saturday, May 29, 9:00 AM Lodge Bowie Memorial Day Parade. Meet at lodge at 9:00 AM for coffee and donuts, then about 10:00 AM go over to the staging area. Dispensation has been granted by Grand Master Velvin for Collington to participate. Grand Master Velvin and his line will be marching with Collington. Thursday, April 1, 7:30 PM Mt H District Grand Lodge School at Mount Herman Lodge. Wardens are expected to attend. Saturday, June 5, 9:00 AM Lodge Bowiefest. Meet at lodge at 9:00 AM to load and then go to Allen's Pond to set up. Volunteers are needed. Tentatively with - The BloodMobil, and a CHIP event manned by Job's Daughters, Bethel 41, Camp Springs, Rainbow Girls, and Catonsville Palestine Chapter Order of Demolay. We are planning to run up to 10 CHIP stations. 2010 Dues notices have been mailed. Dues are $65. Please make your check payable to Collington Lodge No. 230 and send to Collington Lodge No. 230, P.O. Box 739, Bowie, MD 20718-0739, or better yet attend lodge and pay in person. Past Master Bob Madel is chairing the Lodge's visitation committee to Charlotte Hall. As you can see Collington is scheduled for week of April 4th. He has not selected a specific day yet. He says he is flexible. It will not take much of your time to visit our Veteran Masonic brothers at Charlotte Hall. Bob will be leaving his home in Dunkirk at 1:00 PM. The brothers will be taken to the Chapel for church service. Anyone wishing to accompany Bro. Bob, please call him and volunteer. The 2010 planned visitation schedule for additional Charlotte Hall

Brothers, get your son, grandson, and male family members a petition and start them on the road with Freemasonry, the greatest fraternal organization in the world. Please bring your pull tabs to lodge. The tabs help to support families who are staying at the McDonald House while their children are being operated on at Children's Hospital. Grand LodgeGrand Lodge Leadership Training SeminarThe Grand Lodge Leadership Training Seminar will be held on the weekend of March 19, 20, and 21 at the Rocky Gap Lodge and Golf Course in Flintstone, MD. Each lodge is requested to send one officer. The cost to the lodge will be $200 and you are encouraged to bring your wife. Other officers may attend at a cost of $425. Annual Brotherhood Night at New Castle, DelewareFriday, March 19, 5:30 PM Annual Brotherhood Night at Nur Mosque, New Castle, DE The annual brotherhood night sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Delaware is Social hour begins at 5:30 PM, with dinner at 6:30 PM. Grand Lodge of Maryland has 50 tickets. Tickets are $35. Checks should be made payable to Grand Lodge of Maryland-Brotherhood Night and forwarded to Office of Grand Secretary, Masonic Temple, 304 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Tickets are "first come basis". Grand Lodge Regional MeetingsThe Grand Lodge Regional Meetings are planned as follows: All meetings will start at 8:30 AM. The host lodge will serve coffee and donuts at 8:00 AM and sandwiches with soup for lunch. Worshipful Masters and Secretaries are required to attend. Other Lodge members are welcome to attend. Grand Lodge Bull and Oyster RoastSunday, April 25, 2:00 PM The Grand Lodge Bull and Oyster Roast is Sunday, April 25th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Tickets are $29 before April 14th and $35 there after. No tickets will be sold at the door. Make checks payable to Grand Lodge of Maryland and send to 304 International Circle, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Menu will include beef, turkey, country smoked ham, fried and steam oysters. assorted vegetables, beer and soda. Masonic Charities of Maryland CruiseThe Masonic Charities of Maryland is sponsoring a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean from July 1st to July 10th, 2010. Ports of call will include San Juan, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic and Haiti. Cost including port taxes run from $1299.89 to $1949.89 depending on your cabin location. A portion of the cruise cost is tax deductible. A $250 deposit is required with reservation and final payment is required by March 31st. Tickets are: adults $40, Children ages 5 thru 13 $18, children under 4 free. The menu is German food and sides with beer. Two bands will be providing music. Send checks payable to Germania Lodge to Rolf Sorg, 11812 Meylston Drive, Lutherville, MD 21093. Meals on WheelsThere are two Meals on Wheels routes in Bowie. The Group could use some drivers to serve these routes. It only takes about two hours a month and the routes are about 40 miles (Go to Senior Center to pick up containers, then to Prince George's Hospital to get the food, then distribute the food, then take containers back to the Senior Center). The mileage is deductible on your tax return. It can be done by one person, but it is better when two people do it, i.e. husband and wife teams. For additional information call Jack Calloway.
